Is there a built in key that you can use to pause a script? If not how can one be added in? What is function to stop a active script?

forgetoo,

A little searching (always a good start ;-)) produced this:

Global $Paused
HotKeySet("{pause}", "TogglePause")
HotKeySet("{ESC}", "Terminate")

While 1
    For $x = 1 to 999
        Sleep(1)
        ToolTip($x & " - Running",200,200)
    Next
WEnd

Func TogglePause()
    $Paused = NOT $Paused
    While $Paused
        ToolTip($x & " - Paused",200,200)
    Wend
EndFunc

Func Terminate()
Exit 0
EndFunc

I actually did find that and went to post that back in this thread for anyone looking for the same thing. Thanks though. It was 7 down in the help topics for the search on the word "pause" so it took me a while.
