RFC x.500 LDAP Support

7 posts in this topic

I found a good starting place to work from it's based on Netscapes Directory,

I have the time and motivation to get this done.

Here a previous (TCL) version I am use to using:

looking at what I have put together I figured out the following:

Found source files for TCL version which uses this SDK for LDAP

Seems so far I figured out one expression that seems to work

$ldapldll = DllOpen("nsldapssl32v30.dll")

$ldaprtn = DllCall($dll, "int", "ldap_init(hostname, port)")

MsgBox(1,"Ldap Return Message", $ldaprtn)

It return a message of 0 which means it was successful in running the command.

Thank you for posting far too much code without even putting it in a code tag.

No, it returns 0 because you are about seven miles away from correct syntax. Try reading the DllCall() documentation and looking at examples because you aren't even close with that DllCall() line.

Sorry I am just a noob!

Then you are well out of your league. Using DllCall() correctly requires a decent amount of C knowledge as well as AutoIt knowledge.
