7 posts in this topic

hi!

I want to use the _INetSmtpMail function in my script but can't get it right with the SMTP server.. I have created a gmail account and i think I should enter : smtp.gmail.com as the first argument...but while using it I always get error : 50 i.e. Cannot open SMTP session...what am I doing wrong and how do I "set up" the STMP?

thankfull for answers

Why not use Gmail with _INetSmtpMailCom ? It's free. Edited by AdmiralAlkex

yes that's what I'm doing and it works just fine except the $FromAddress argument...whatever I choose there the mail always seems to come from $Username...and still why doesn't the "normal" _INetSmtpMail function work properly? :)

cheers
