Insert current date

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

I started automising a few weeks ago and after testing several products I found AutoIT and it seems to fit best to my requirements. My first script works pretty good, but now I want to insert the current system date in a FireFox-Formular. I'm using the FF.au3-script to control Firefox (many thanks to Thorsten Willert), but I don't find anything in the AutoIT-Documentation to read out and format the system date.

Can anyone please give me a hint...

Thanks a lot and the next question will follow :)

First, welcome to the AutoIt forums.

Are you sure that you could find nothing in the Help file about dates? If I search for "date" I get 136 hits. :-)

Try looking for the _Now() function. Or the _Date_Time_GetSystemTime() & _Date_Time_SystemTimeToDateStr() functions.
