Thumb nails[SOLVED]

Is there any functions that allows thumbs (pics) to auto generated from videos, as in (View: Thumbnails)?

Nope. You've gotta have some decoder function that can read a specific frame (often the first frame) and save it to a separate image.

Many videos are stored in mpeg format now though. Avi was a simple enough format but mpeg uses a lot more compression.

True. Maybe DirectShow is the way to go (I think that's how windows solves it internally). Since it sucks to work with DirectShow in native autoit I think I will give writing a plugin a chance.
