Lockout AD User Account

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I want a portion of my script to lockout the user's Active directory account (or have their password expire....something along those lines). Can someone steer me in the right direction?

Thanks!

TB

Locked out and disabled are two different things. You can query $oUser.IsAccountLocked, but not set the lockout property, that comes from too many bad login attempts.

You can disable the account by just setting $oUser.AccountDisabled = True.
