simple textbase database files

Due to my limited knowledge of DB files and manipulation with AutoIT I have used an INI file however due to the limitations of single line I have run into troubles reading the data.

Can anyone suggest a more powerful format but still quite simple to use with AutoIT?

Example:

[settings]
name=recipe
width=500
height=300
ingredients=1 cup of water
1 cup of flower
1 egg
method=mix ingredients in a bowl until no visible lumps.
poor mix into greased pan and cook for 40mins at 250 degrees.
