I use this in my scripts:

$objMessage = ObjCreate ("CDO.Message")
$objMessage.BodyPart.ContentTransferEncoding = "8bit"
$objMessage.BodyPart.CharSet = "windows-1250"

...

so this may help to get you on the right way ;-)
