getting IE control ID's under win 7

Recommended Posts

In win 7, autoit window info tool does not return the control ID of the adress box in IE8 (the one that comes defult with win 7)

How do you get the ID? Is there another way to get the text of the adressbox (without clicking and sending ctrl c) or getting the current pages url?

_IEPropertyGet

"locationurl" Retrieves the URL of the resource that Internet Explorer is currently displaying.

MsgBox(0, "URL", _IEPropertyGet($oIE, "locationurl"))
