Executing external autoit code in compiled exe?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a bit of a problem.

I want to execute pieces of (valid) au3 code that are received from a website using InetGetSource. I tried the Execute command, however it is very very limited as far as i've tried.

This is my piece of code:

#include <INet.au3>
Execute(_INetGetSource('http://localhost/code.txt'))

code.txt contains this (for testing matters):

$blabla = 2
if $blabla > 1 then
   messagebox(0, 0, 'its higher then 2')
else
   messagebox(0, 0, 'its lower then 2')
endif

This does nothing other then setting @error

Is there any other way to execute pieces of code like this example, that are obtained from outside?

I know about includes, but this has to work in the final .exe as well.

Thanks for any tips you may have!

Nick

Haha, sorry for the late reply

I had to finish some work related work (that sounds quite odd)..

Of course I didn't open a new thread, I may be new to _these_ forums, but that doesn't mean I'm a complete idiot =P
