Calling a function by typing something

Greetings ,

I'm trying to create a function that launches another function if a certain "code" is typed (while a GUI is active), like this:

SInce you want th egui to be active and visible why not just have an edit which receives the typed characters. In you while loop just check what is in the edit and if it's one of the commands you implement then call the relevant function and clear the edit box. If you don't want the edit box you can position it out of view.

1. Look at HotStrings.

2. Look at _IsPressedEx UDF (to check pressed groups, i.e: _IsPressedEx("[abcd]")).

@Martin Ah yes it was meant to be like a more general way, but what you mentioned is interesting nonetheless, hadn't thought about that yet.
