H1He2
Hello everyone! I have been working on a small AutoIt script that allows the user to toggle between Playback devices without opening the "Sound" window from the system tray in Windows 7/Vista. I did this through assigning key combinations. The script is functioning as I intended with the exception of one small problem. For some reason, very frequently, after pressing one of the assigned key combinations, the modifier keys used in the key combination (Ctrl and Alt, in this case) behave as if they are still being pressed down, even after being released. This remains the case until the user presses and releases the modifier keys. What can I do to correct this annoying phenomenon? I have just recently started using AutoIt and as a result I am still quite unaccustomed to it. Any assistance that you provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! dantay9
Take a close look at the send help file. I think sending CTRLUP and ALTUP will fix your problem.

H1He2
Just change the HotKeys to HotKeySet("^!1", "SetDevice1") HotKeySet("^!2", "SetDevice2") And forget about $keypress Actually, I don't think changing that would make any difference. I had that variable there because I was planning on making the hot key user customizable in the future.
