Help rotating graphic created using guictrlcreategraphic()

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am working on a 2D graphical simulation program where there is like a compass pointer represented by a line drawn using guictrlcreategraphic() function, but if i try to draw a line again on the same graphic, it draws another line without removing the previous one. I don't want to delete the graphic as it causes the whole GUI form to refresh and since i am updating the pointer several times per second it is not acceptable. I need this working for my final year project at University. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Ankit

thanks for the reply. But I have tried covering it up, its just that I have a graphic below it with dynamic background, so I actually needed to somehow make the previous line invisible if possible.

I'll still try doing it again, maybe if I somehow match the background with the underlying graphic, it might work.

Have a look at UEZ' meters here. They give a really excellent example of what I think you want.
