Expandable Gui.

3 posts in this topic

I need to make a Gui that does the following:

When i press a hotkey or click a button, the gui window expands and a new set of commands is displayed.

The idea is a toolbox sort of design.

PersonoidxX,

If you use WinMove, you can resize the GUI. You will need to stop your controls resizing (look at GUICtrlSetResizing and Opt(GUIResizeMode)). It is more difficult to expand the GUI up and to the left, so you might want to look at sliding in additional GUI area - look at GaryFrost's WinAnimate UDF which you can download from here.

Thanks for your help. In the end i was too lazy to read through the UDF and i used 2 guis with a gui delete. Thanks anyway. I could tell this was what i wanted but it seemed more complex than simply using 2 guis.
