FileOpenDialog return

Old-topic: Well, Ok. I found another way to fix the problem :)

Another question...

I have a input and a browse button, when I click the browse button a FileOpenDialog comes up and I select a file (MP3 or WAV). Then I want to display just the name of the file I selected in the input box beside it.

It just returns the full path...

Any ideas?

This is the FileOpenDialog parth:

$SoundFile = FileOpenDialog ( "Select alarm", "", "MP3 files (*.mp3)|WAV files (*.wav)", 3 )
        If @error = 1 Then
            GUICtrlSetData ( $File, "No file selected!" )
            GUICtrlSetColor ( $File, 0xFF0000 )
        Else
            GUICtrlSetColor ( $File, 0x000000 )
            GUICtrlSetData ( $File, $SoundFile )
        EndIf

Edit:

As the OP deleted his original questions, I have added them to this post so you can see what I was answering!

1. How to get the PID from a window name?

1. Try looking at _WinAPI_GetFocus in the Help file

2. Where is a good place to store ini files?

2. I use something along these lines:

; See if app is in C:\Program Files
If StringInStr(@ScriptDir, "Program Files") Then
; Need to save ini and rpt files elsewhere because Vista can get upset
    If Not FileExists(@AppDataDir & "\Application_Name") Then DirCreate(@AppDataDir & "\Application_Name")
    $sAppData_Path = @AppDataDir & "\Application_Name"
Else
    ; Can use working directory
    $sAppData_Path = @ScriptDir
EndIf

Rawox,

Why not open a new topic rather then editing your first post? The idea of these forums is to help others - so leave your questions alone so that the answers make sense to anyone else looking. I shall have to edit my post now so that anyone else looking in knows what it refers to! :)

As to your new question, try this:

$File_And_Ext = StringRegExpReplace($SoundFile, "^.*\\", "")
