Right-Shift KbCode?

Recommended Posts

How come the right shift doesn't seem to have a kb code? The left one has a code of 160, but it seems the right one has none? Am I missing something here?

Not sure if this is right but try 62. By the way if you are trying to use this with Send() then you may have a problem, see here

62 didn't work. Sorry, I meant to put vk code in the title.

I'm trying to get it to work right with _WinAPI_CallNextHookEx()

It's not just shift but also other keys, refer to this page.

There are corresponding constants to distinguish between the right and the left shift. The real difference between left shift and right shift keystrokes (or ctrl keystroke) is the scan code of the key being pressed.

If 160 is working for 'Left SHIFT' then 161 should work for 'Right SHIFT'

edit:

I think I know what you mean. Right shift is consumed by the system (hit it 5 times in a row to see)
