Hi, everyone!

I'm new to AutoIt. Until now, I've been using it only to automate some installations.

Does anybody know how to check items (boxes) within a listbox control? I've been using this to change some settings in Windows XP Home - Windows Components Wizard [ListBox1].

I don't have any problems selecting items but there is no way (that I know)to check or uncheck them. I've been using pixelgetcolor function and it works, but i need a function that really checks the state of the checkbox. I can also find the item by text and send {SPACE} but this is very unreliable because it doesn't know the current state.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, GEOSoft

I have already tried that: ControlCommand ("Windows Components Wizard", "", "ListBox1", "Check", "Fax Services")

It doesn't work for me.

$htitle = "Windows Components Wizard"

If WinExists($hTitle) Then
$iPos = ControlCommand ("Windows Components Wizard", "", "ListBox1", "FindString", "Fax Services")
ControlCommand ("Windows Components Wizard", "", "ListBox1", "SetCurrentSelection", $iPos)
   Sleep(100)
   Send("{SPACE}")
EndIf
