MicahC
I was wondering if it is possible to find my external ip with autoit script. Even if it means copying the adress from A website that works too. If I did have to go that route I would prefer using whatsmyip.org and reading the title text. As long as I get the external ip somehow I'm happy. Thanks is advance
somdcomputerguy
Use this Function RegRead to get the IP from the registry. I'm not sure where exactly, but HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\Tcpip\ would probably be a good place to start. I'm sure there are other ways too.. - Bruce /*somdcomputerguy */ If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
AdmiralAlkex
You want the function _GetIP() from INet.au3 (under "Inet Management" in the helpfile) .Some of my scripts: ShiftER, Codec-Control, Resolution switcher for HTC ShiftSome of my UDFs: SDL UDF, SetDefaultDllDirectories, Converting GDI+ Bitmap/Image to SDL Surface
