color searching question

Recommended Posts

I'm curious if anyone has an effective method of scanning given coordinates, and returning the color code it finds, in some form? I ask because I have written a script for a game and need it to be able to check which screen its currently on, and figure this is the best way without reading memory, any ideas?

Thanks.
