ControlSend Bug?

Hi,
I am a new user of AutoIt and is having some problem. I am not sure exactly if this is a bug but with the code below, I am supposed to highlight and delete an entry in a input box. However, this is not happening....

ControlSend ($AppBase, "",$Ctrl_MonoID, "+{END}") ControlSend ($AppBase, "",$Ctrl_MonoID, "{DEL}")

Also, I actually register to the forum with intention to post this on the General Help and support section but they say I don not have the permission to post a new message. Why is that so?
