How to Exit Loop

Recommended Posts

Basically I am just trying to find a way to get out of a Do Loop by just pressing a button or something simple like that. Sometimes the auotit script messes up and miss clicks and I need to find a way to stop the loop if that happens. Any Suggestions?

jagman1990,

I would use a HotKey and a flag. Pressing the HotKey sets the flag which lets you escape from the loop:

HotKeySet("{ESC}", "Out_Loop")

$fOut_Flag = False

Do
    Sleep(10)
    If $fOut_Flag Then ExitLoop

Until 1 = 2

ConsoleWrite("I am here!" & @CRLF)

Func Out_Loop()
    $fOut_Flag = True
EndFunc

I hope this helps.
