an _IELoadWait type function that works with frames containg javascript?

Recommended Posts

Is there something like _IELoadWait that works for pages with frames that contain javascript?

I've tried the frames_IELoadWait function from the AutoIt snippets database and it doesn't work for me.

I've also tried the following code:

$i = 0
    While $i = 0
        Sleep(1000)
        $i = _IEFrameGetObjByName ($oIE, "tree")
        If Not @error Then
            $i = 1
        Else
            $i = 0
        EndIf
        ;MsgBox(0, "Value of $i is:", $i)
    WEnd

but it doesn't work either.

Anyone got any ideas regarding this?

More info and a reproducer would be in order. Have no idea what you are trying to do in that code snippet, but don't see how it could apply to the issue you describe.

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?
