Hellouser Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 I am Having a server application with 10 clients connected to it .Whenever the client is going for a hard disconnect from the network(System restarted due to hardware failure, ..etc),the server is not getting any acknowledgment. The server application is based on ASYNC socket method .When the client is going for normal shutdown /log off i am getting the response properly. All other features are working fine. Is it possible to catch these kinds of network hard disconnect events from the server side. ?
