alternative to splashimage?

2 posts in this topic

I need 10 simultaneous images displayed on my screen, but splashimage only allow 1 to be created. Does anyone have any ideas for getting past this little problem? Search was no help.

adam,

If you create a small GUI with the $WS_POPUP style, you lose the normal windows furniture. You can then use GUICtrlCreatePic at the same size as the GUI and you get what you want - or something pretty close to it! ;)

Here is an example using an icon, but the principle is exactly the same:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

$hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 100, 100, -1, -1, $WS_POPUP)

GUICtrlCreateIcon(@WindowsDir & "\cursors\horse.ani", 1, 0, 0, 100, 100)

GUISetState()

While 1

    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
    EndSwitch

WEnd

Merry Xmas!
