maxrealqnx,

Perhaps if you display the contents of the input and not its ControlID?

Case $Button1
            $stext = GUICtrlRead ($Input1)
            MsgBox (4096, "", $stext)

Happy New Year! ;)

May I ask a question to you ?

Can i add a icon to the "$aboutitem = TrayCreateItem("About")" ?

This can happen ?

#NoTrayIcon

Opt("TrayMenuMode",1)

$prefsitem  = TrayCreateItem("Preferences")
TrayCreateItem("")
$aboutitem  = TrayCreateItem("About")
TrayCreateItem("")
$exititem   = TrayCreateItem("Exit")

TraySetState()
TraySetIcon("Shell32.dll",1)

While 1
    $msg = TrayGetMsg()
    Select
        Case $msg = 0
            ContinueLoop
        Case $msg = $prefsitem
            Msgbox(64, "Preferences:", "OS:" & @OSVersion)
        Case $msg = $aboutitem
            Msgbox(64, "about:", "AutoIt3-Tray-sample.")
        Case $msg = $exititem
            ExitLoop
