maxrealqnx,

Perhaps if you display the contents of the input and not its ControlID?

Case $Button1
            $stext = GUICtrlRead ($Input1)
            MsgBox (4096, "", $stext)

Happy New Year! ;)

TrayCreateItem("")
$aboutitem  = TrayCreateItem("About")
TrayCreateItem("")
$exititem   = TrayCreateItem("Exit")

TraySetState()
TraySetIcon("Shell32.dll",1)

While 1

            ContinueLoop
        Case $msg = $prefsitem
            Msgbox(64, "Preferences:", "OS:" & @OSVersion)
