Somebody help with number select script?

4 posts in this topic

which script to display pair numbers of 1 to 100? I think that program logic would be this.

#

While $i <= 100

if number_rest_of_division == 0 then

msgbox ("It is a pair number")

$i = $i + 1

WEnd

SLDCA,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :D

I would detect Odd and Even numbers like this:

For $i = 1 To 10
    If Int($i / 2) = $i / 2 Then
        ConsoleWrite($i & " is Even" & @CRLF)
    Else
        ConsoleWrite($i & " is Odd" & @CRLF)
    EndIf
Next

Hi,

having some difficulties to understand what you want.

You might get what you want with function Mod (). See Helpfile..

;-))

Stefan

@Edit: Welcome too. Copied some parts from helpfile:

For $i = 1 To 100
    If mod($i, 2) = 0 Then
        MsgBox(0,"", $i & " is an even number.")
    Else
        MsgBox(0, "", $i & " is an odd number.")
    EndIf
Next
