Database File with SQL?

6 posts in this topic

I want to make a database file, I have seen it done before, but I dont know how.

Basically I want to use the sql syntax to access info in a database file rather than having to use a mysql server and connect to it.

How would I go about doing this?

use SQLite  It has not the full power of a dedicated SQL-server, but most things should work.

What are your requirements and which queries do you need to run?

I confirm SQLite can do really much by itself and often be extended to handle an incredible range of situations / load / size / complexity.

There is much documentation on SQLite, please first read some and try something yourself. I am sure people are willing to help you when you are stuck. Right now you don't show any effort and don't give us anything to work with anyway
