MouseClick ONLY in GUI window

Recommended Posts

OK, I have an application that puts up a GUI window. In it I have some stuff going on. However, I want the user to be able to RIGHT CLICK ONLY in the GUI window. I have tried _IsPressed, but right clicking in or out of the window activates the RightClick process.

Make sense what I am looking for. If outside the application GUI window, let MSWindows do its thing (or some other application if it has focus). If and only if you are clicking inside the GUI WIndow I built, then act accordingly (want to Right click and have a menu come up for user to change settings, etc.).

Try this: :mellow:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

$hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500)

While 1
    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            MsgBox(0,"Hello", "You right clicked in the GUI!")

DOH!!! You are still my "hero" when it comes to Autoit.

I knew it would be easy, but this is great and VERY simple.

Thanks again for your help

P.S. Now to learn how to make the menu.......................
