cvsWrapper using svn problem

9 posts in this topic

Hello all,

This is my first post here. Sorry if is a so much asked question, but I've been searching the forum and found none.

I'm using Scite4AutoIt3 version Version 1.79 Jul 16 2009 18:30:31, SVN versión 1.5.2 (r32768) compilado Aug 29 2008, 18:36:18

Also modified SCITEUser.properties adding following lines:

# 42 Update Source in CVS
command.42.*.au3=$(SciteDefaultHome)\cvsWrapper\CvsWrapper.exe "$(FilePath)"
command.name.42.*.au3=CVS Update Source
command.save.before.42.*.au3=1
command.shortcut.42.*.au3=F12
# 43 Compare current Source with CVS version
command.43.*.au3=$(SciteDefaultHome)\cvsWrapper\CvsWrapper.exe "$(FilePath)" /ShowDiff
command.name.43.*.au3=CVS Diff Source
command.save.before.43.*.au3=1
command.shortcut.43.*.au3=Alt+F12
# 44 Open ScriptSource Directory
command.44.*.au3=$(SciteDefaultHome)\cvsWrapper\CvsWrapper.exe "$(FilePath)" /ShowRepository
command.name.44.*.au3=CVS Open Source Directory
command.save.before.44.*.au3=1
command.shortcut.44.*.au3=Ctrl+F12

The problem is that when I press F12 to lunch the Repository dialog, I get the following error in the display panel:

>C:\AutoIt3\SciTE\cvsWrapper\CvsWrapper.exe "C:\autoit\myscript.au3"

>%1 is not a valid Win32 application.

However, from command line I can use svn without problem. I do not know what else to do... Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Does this exe really exists: C:\AutoIt3\SciTE\cvsWrapper\CvsWrapper.exe ?

Have you actually installed cvsWrapper which is a separate installer?

Hello Jos,

Yeah, installed from separated installer: cvsWrapperInst.exe,

but I noticed that in the directory where you pointed out C:\AutoIt3\SciTE\cvsWrapper, the .exe that gets installed hasn't the AutoIt3 icon.

I compiled the source cvsWrapper.au3 and now the .exe has the AutoIt3 icon and what's more: :( now the F12 works in the editor.

Previously this, trying to execute the .exe gave me the message "cvsWrapper.exe insn't a valid Win32 Application"... Maybe some problem with installer? Don't know...

What ever it was, thanks for the help.

Regards.

I just tested the installer by downloading it from the link and it installs the cvsWrapper.exe fine without any problem.

Hi Everybody,

I'm having the same problem.

I'm sure I downloaded from the links given by the download page.

So I proceeded as follows:

  • Download CVSWrapper,
  • Installation CVSWrapper,
  • Download WinMerge,
  • WinMerge installation & reboot the PC,
  • Opening of SciTE and adding command lines in SciTEUser.properties (which was previously empty)
  • Restart SciTE,

So I opened a file test.au3, and tried to F12 or ALT + F12 (why not...) and the console so I have the following message:

>C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\cvsWrapper\CvsWrapper.exe "C:\Documents and Settings\Groumphy.LABS_DOM\Desktop\test.au3"

>%1 is not a valid Win32 application.

ALT + F12

>C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\cvsWrapper\CvsWrapper.exe "C:\Documents and Settings\Groumphy.LABS_DOM\Desktop\test.au3" /ShowDiff

>%1 is not a valid Win32 application.

CVSWrapper is installed in C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\cvsWrapper; WinMerge in the folder C:\Program Files\WinMerge etc.. Everything is default.

Some time ago (more than a year), I posted a similar message ... And a solution was given. Unfortunately I can not find what topics, in fact I tried on my nickname, but without success.

Could you help me install the environment compared SVN?

Thanks

Groumphy

[EDIT]Even if it is not because of the argument passed? (% 1) While the argument was not requested in the right order or it is incorrect? (Not an application?)
