Is there any way to add a code in a Case without copy pasting it right inside the Case ?

Explanation :

While 1
    $msg = GUIGetMsg()
    Select
        Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            ExitLoop
        Case $msg = $GUI_Button_Start
        ;its a BIG code so I dont want to copy/paste into here...
        Case $msg = $GUI_Button_Stopp
            ExitLoop
    EndSelect
WEnd

;I want it in a variable here

Anyway I can do this?

thanks :(

That's one of the purposes of functions. Make your code into a function and invoke it from your Case.

This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). An absolute must have in your bookmarks.
Another excellent RegExp tutorial. Don't forget downloading your copy of up-to-date pcretest.exe and pcregrep.exe here

More like this

While 1
    $msg = GUIGetMsg()
    Select
        Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            ExitLoop
        Case $msg = $GUI_Button_Start
            Notepad()
        Case $msg = $GUI_Button_Stopp
            ExitLoop
    EndSelect
WEnd

Func Notepad()
    Run("Notepad.exe")
EndFunc

You're overcomplicaing things, aren't you?

While 1
 $msg = GUIGetMsg()
 Select
 Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
 ExitLoop
 Case $msg = $GUI_Button_Start
 Run("Notepad.exe")
 Case $msg = $GUI_Button_Stopp
 ExitLoop
 EndSelectWEnd

or, even:

While 1
 $msg = GUIGetMsg()
 Select
 Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
 ExitLoop
 Case $msg = $GUI_Button_Start
 StartFct()
 Case $msg = $GUI_Button_Stopp
 ExitLoop
 EndSelectWEnd

Func StartFct()
    Run("Notepad.exe")
    ;; do something much more complicated
EndFunc

Edit:

Hi Yoriz,

I didn't see you posting in the meantime.
