Hi,

Having a problem with the controlcommand "uncheck". Ordinarily I use the "tab" & "space" method of toggling the check boxes, but for this perticular installation the check boxes are sometimes checked and sometimes not, depending on each users computer. I simply want to uncheck the check boxes during the installation.

There are 2 check boxes in my window and "autoIt v3 window info" is grabbing them both with its finder tool.

I dont know if that's part of the problem of why its not unchecking or if I simply have the syntax wrong.

ControlCommand("Installation - PDF-XChange PDF Viewer", "", "[CLASS:TNewCheckListBox;INSTANCE:1]", "UnCheck", "")

Title: Installation - PDF-XChange PDF Viewer

Class: TWizardForm

Class: TNewCheckListBox

Instance: 1

Control

Class: TNewCheckListBox

Instance: 1

ClassnameNN: TNewCheckListBox1

Advanced (Class): [CLASS:TNewCheckListBox;INSTANCE:1]

ID: 2165248

Thanks for the help.

Never used that function but have you tried using 2165248 as the controlID parameter ?

yes I did, seems like that number changes everytime I re-launch that installation anyway.

johnyV,

I have come across a fair number of checkboxes lately which do not respond to ControlCommand "Check/Uncheck" - see here.

I am afraid you may have to go the same PixelCheck route. :(
