GEOSoft
First and foremost, strings are usually enclosed in either single or double quotes A couple of examples $sVar = "This is a string." $sVar = "This is a string that contains the digits 1234. These digits are still strings although they appear to be numbers" $sVar = "This is a string that 'contains' single quotes so the string is encased in double quotes." $sVar = 'This is a string that "contains" double quotes so the string is encased in single quotes.' A string is concatenated using one of 2 methods $svar = "This is part of a string " $sVar = $sVar & "and this is the rest of the string." OR $sVar = "This is part of a string " $sVar &= "and this is the rest of the string." In other words, if you were to type a letter to someone, everything you typed could be enclosed in quotes and handled as a string in AutoIt. George Question about decompiling code?
