_IEPropertyGet Question

4 posts in this topic

Hey can anyone tell me why this isn't working?

$title = _IEPropertyGet($oIE, "title")
    ConsoleWrite($title)

This is the error I am getting?

--> IE.au3 V2.4-0 Error from function _IEPropertyGet, $_IEStatus_InvalidDataType

IsObj($oIE) will show you that $oIE is not an object... $_IEStatus_InvalidDataType

Alternative to _IECreateEmbedded? better: _IECreatePseudoEmbedded  Better Better?

IE.au3 issues with Vista - Workarounds

SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble

Hey Dale I done what you asked:

If IsObj($oIE) = 1 Then
        ConsoleWrite("Is Object")
    Else
        ConsoleWrite("Not Object")
    EndIf

and its outputting Is Object is there anything else that you can suggest?

Thanks

Not sure what to tell you other than try again and provide a reproducer. That error is only returned by _IEPropertyGet is the first parameter is not an object.
