Moderators Melba23 Posted June 23, 2010 Moderators Share Posted June 23, 2010 (edited) abhisheksreepal,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. AutoIt can send the value, but Calculator cannot understand it - you need to convert it first. Here is one way to do it:$sData = "1E+03" ; Break the string into 2 parts either side of the "E" $aData = StringSplit($sData, "E") ; Split the initial number int parts either side of the "." $aNumber = StringSplit($aData[1], ".") ; If ther is no decimal point, then add one! If $aNumber[0] = 1 Then $aData[1] &= ".0" ; Reconstruct the exponential number and convert it $nNewNumber = Number($aData[1] & "E" & $aData[2]) ; And here it is converted ConsoleWrite($nNewNumber & @CRLF)If you Send $nNewNumber, Calulator will accept it. Ask if anything is unclear. M23Edit: Added some comments to the code.
