Fran Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I have some problems with my gui. When I'm copying files... or applying attributes to files, it stops responding while its busy with the action. Is there any way getting past this? I've been checking the forums for solutions, but I can't find anything that could help me. F

James Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Fran, The reason this happens is because FileCopy interrupts the GUI polling. Since AutoIt is not multi threaded, you're unable to run two or more consecutive tasks at once. Take a look at the link KaFu posted since that will keep your GUI polling whilst the file is copying.
