Hi, kinda new to AutoIt, so if this is something that is real simple and I just haven't found it yet, forgive me.

What I'm wanting to do, is send key entries to one window running in the background, while actively working in another. So far I can only figure out how to send to a window that is currently active. Which is nice and still speeds up and simplifies some of my work, but it would be nice to be able to work on something more complex while the script takes care of the monotonous.

Maybe ControlSend will work for you.

Almost. That works to send it to the specified window as desired, but it also pulls that window up, interrupting what I am trying to do in the other window.

Hmm. It shouldn't, post your code here, let's see how it's doing stuff..

Possibly WinSetState($hWin, "", @SW_HIDE) could help to force the window to stay hidden
