Autoit Tuts

8 posts in this topic

Hi All

Just wondering, are there any detailed Autoit Tuts for newbies.

Also is Autoit recommended for automating web functions, ie: create web bots?

Thanks

Ok, So The FAQ sticky seems to have most of the answers thank you.

As to creating web bots with Autoit, a member did say NO (Not possible), but

their reply has been deleted?

So just to clarify,Autoit is not recommended for automating browser functions.

Thanks

Did you also read the other sticky "Announcement Game Bots" ?

Maybe that gives you part of your answer, but much is possible with AutoIt3.

Take a look at the tuts linked in my signature. Additionally the help-file which comes with the AutoIt Installer is really awesome (example for every function). For automating webtasks via a really good IE remote control implementation take a look at the _IE* functions as documented in the UDF help-file.
