Is there any way to run functions where the sleep is non effecting to the rest of the script? So if the function has a sleep of 3000 it only sleeps in that function, not the rest of the script? Thanks.

I'm develoing a game and the function I want running in the background is the monster roam script, so that the monsters move around.

Func _RoamE1()
    $PosE1[0] -= 1
    GUICtrlSetImage($SpriteE1, 'eleftleft.bmp')
    WinMove($E1, '', $PosE1[0], $PosE1[1])
    Sleep(50)
    $PosE1[0] -= 1
    GUICtrlSetImage($SpriteE1, 'eleftright.bmp')
    WinMove($E1, '', $PosE1[0], $PosE1[1])
    Sleep(50)
    $PosE1[0] -= 1
    GUICtrlSetImage($SpriteE1, 'eleft.bmp')
    WinMove($E1, '', $PosE1[0], $PosE1[1])
    Sleep(2000)
    $PosE1[1] -= 1
    GUICtrlSetImage($SpriteE1, 'ebackleft.bmp')
    WinMove($E1, '', $PosE1[0], $PosE1[1])

Epdmk,

Please do not bump your own posts within 24 hours.

Remember this is not a 24/7 support forum - those who answer are only here because they like helping others and have some time to spare. You just have to wait until someone who knows something about your particular problem, and is willing to help, comes online.

And we have to sleep sometimes. ;)

Be patient!
