vmsgman Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 I would like to use a GUI to gather input from the user(couple of input boxes) then use the RUN command to start a program and use the gathered input to control the program that i am running. Can you close and kill a GUI without closing the script??? THX greg
GaryFrost Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 this should answer your question #include <GUIConstants.au3> GUICreate("My GUI") ; will create a dialog box that when displayed is centered GUISetState () ; will display an empty dialog box ; Run the GUI until the dialog is closed While 1 $msg = GUIGetMsg() If $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then ExitLoop Wend GUIDelete();; will return 1 MsgBox(0,"test","still here") SciTE for AutoItDirections for Submitting Standard UDFs Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
