getting a script to find its own location?

What I'm trying to figure out is if theres any way to get a script to find its own location and set it as a variable, so that it can copy files in its own directory to another location. Normally, not a problem if the location didnt change, but the script's location isnt going to be Static. I need it to be able to find out what the path of the CD drive it's in is and copy files from that path to another directory.

I just cant seem to figure out a way to do that, any suggestions?

Any help is appriciated, sorry if theres an obvious answer. I'm just not seeing it.
