Reading radio state.

Recommended Posts

This is what I have currently.

$msg = GUIGetMsg()

While 1
    Select
        Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
        Case $msg = $Start
            If GUICtrlRead($Left) = $GUI_CHECKED Then
                Left()
            EndIf
            If GUICtrlRead($Right) = $GUI_CHECKED Then
                Right()
            EndIf
    EndSelect
WEnd

Func Left()
    Exit
EndFunc

Func Right()
    Exit
EndFunc

It doesn't work, I've searched the forums but couldn't find any help. How do I fix this up.

riceking,

Like this: :blink:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

$hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500)

GUIStartGroup()
$Left = GUICtrlCreateRadio(" Left", 10, 10, 100, 20)
$Right = GUICtrlCreateRadio(" Right", 200, 10, 100, 20)

$Start = GUICtrlCreateButton("Start", 10, 100, 80, 30)

GUISetState()

While 1
    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
        Case $Start
            If GUICtrlRead($Left) = 1 Then
                MsgBox(0, "", "Left")
                Left()
            ElseIf GUICtrlRead($Right) = 1 Then
                MsgBox(0, "", "Right")
                Right()
            Else
                MsgBox(0, "", "Neither")
            EndIf
    EndSwitch
WEnd

Func Left()
    Exit
EndFunc

Func Right()
    Exit
EndFunc

Normally GUICtrlRead on a Checkbox/Radio returns 1 if checked and 4 if not - read the Help file for GUICtrlRead and check out the constants in the include file. ;)
