The Not Command

Recommended Posts

Um, I couldn't find the "Not" command in the autoit helpfile.

So can anyone give me some example script with it being used, and give me a explanation on what's it do and what's it used for? OK, thank you.

You find NOT in the Help file under <Language Reference - Operators>. :)

NOT reverses the question - try running this:

$iVar = 1

If $iVar = 1 Then ; Here we ask if the statement is true
    ConsoleWrite("True" & @CRLF) ; And it is - so we go here!
    ConsoleWrite("False" & @CRLF)

If Not ($iVar = 1) Then ; Here we ask if the statement is not true
    ConsoleWrite("True" & @CRLF)
    ConsoleWrite("False" & @CRLF) ; But it is - so we go here!

All clear? ;)
