Juvigy 49 Posted September 20, 2010 I tried several styles but with no success. The scrolling is not needed as the text is not too big. How can e create a edit control without the "scroll sliders" ? It should be simple thing but i cant seem to find it. 10x
Melba23 3,455 Posted September 20, 2010 Juvigy,The scrollbars are part of the default styles for the Edit control. You just need to set the style without them: #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <EditConstants.au3> $hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500) $hEdit = GUICtrlCreateEdit("", 10, 10, 480, 480, $ES_WANTRETURN) ; Only remaining style once the scrollbars are removed GUISetState() While 1 Switch GUIGetMsg() Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit EndSwitch WEndYou might find the Setting Styles tutorial in the Wiki of interest - it goes into more detail about this.
