_DateToMonth

And I'm pretty sure more than one file can be opened at the same time.

oh another thing somdcomputerguy, im just wondering when i finish my script i would like to compile it to exe so that i can place it to my other workstations, if i do that the function _DateToMonth needs to have #include <Date.au3> will this be affected? i mean will the script give an error if i place the compiled script in a workstation that has no autoit installed?

Nope. It'll work fine. When it's compiled, it's all included.
