jokester001
Hi, just started AutoIt yesterday and would like some help. I'd like to know if there is a way for AutoIt to continue updating the position/size of the active window if it has been moved. My code so far: Opt("PixelCoordMode", 0) WinActivate ("[TITLE:MY TITLE OF ACTIVE WINDOW GOES HERE]") Global $state = WinGetState ("[ACTIVE]") Global $size = WinGetPos ("[ACTIVE]") While 1 If BitAND($state, 8) Then ;if the window is active do this $coord = PixelSearch ( 0, 0, $size[2], $size[3], COLOUR, 2, 2, "[ACTIVE]") EndIf If $coord = Chr(0) Then ;if there is no coordinates from the pixelsearch, pause Sleep(100) Else MouseClick("left", $coord[0], $coord[1], 1) ;if coordinates found, click Sleep(1000) EndIf WEnd EndFunc Any help would be appreciated. *EDIT*, also any links to tutorials to learn more AutoIt would be awesome. I'm currently just learning from looking at the functions list. Edited November 24, 2010 by jokester001
Moderators Melba23 Posted November 24, 2010 Moderators Share Posted November 24, 2010 jokester001,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. Take a look at AutoItSetOption("PixelCoordMode") in the Help file. If you set it to modes 0/2 then it is tied to the window and you do not need to worry about the GUI moving. As to tutorials, reading the Help file (at least the first few sections - Using AutoIt, Tutorials and the first couple of References) will help you enormously. There are excellent tutorials here and here - you will find other more advanced tutorials in the Wiki (the link is at the top of the page). There are even video tutorials on YouTube if you prefer watching to reading.
