Function to find the serial number

Hi Friends, By using any of the functions can we able to find the serail number or product number of the mahcine account also model details? Please help me on this... so for i haven't try any code or functions...expecting someone to trigger me on this... sorry for the inconvenience!

You can use RegRead() to read values from your registry which may house your cd key (check this article: http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/243/xp-fi...-product-id-cd-key-code-in-the), but I believe it's encrypted in some way.

As for computer model/specs, there are preset macros you can find here http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/macros.htm that may provide what you need.

By the way, you posted in Example Scripts. This should go in the General Help and Support section. It just makes it easier for helpers to spot your problem.

Look at WMI Scriptomatic here.

This guy did a great job with this tool.

You can find what you want with the Win32_Bios WMI class. It provides serial, model information and more.
