twinturbosubaru,

As I suspected, the format is not quite the same as the one you posted earlier. For example, you can see that you can get an ":=" after the text we are searching for as well as ": ".

Try the following and see what you get:

$aDaytimeNumber = StringRegExp($body, "(?i)(?U).*?Daytime number:[\s=](.*)\v.*", 1)
If @error Then
    ConsoleWrite("DaytimeNumber SRE Failed" & @CRLF)
Else
    ConsoleWrite($aDaytimeNumber[0] & @CRLF)
EndIf

$aMobileNumber = StringRegExp($body, "(?i)(?U).*?Mobile number:[\s=](.*)\v.*", 1)
If @error Then
    ConsoleWrite("MobileNumber SRE Failed" & @CRLF)
Else
    ConsoleWrite($aMobileNumber[0] & @CRLF)
EndIf

$aEmailAddress = StringRegExp($body, "(?U).*Email Address:\s(.*)\v.*", 1)
If @error Then
    ConsoleWrite("E-Mail SRE Failed" & @CRLF)
Else
    ConsoleWrite($aEmailAddress[0] & @CRLF)
EndIf

$aContactTime = StringRegExp($body, "(?U).*Preferred Contact Time:\s(.*)\v.*", 1)
If @error Then
    ConsoleWrite("Time SRE Failed" & @CRLF)
Else
    ConsoleWrite($aContactTime[0] & @CRLF)
EndIf

These SREs work on the text you sent me, so I hope that they will work for you - fingers crossed. Please let me know if you get any error messages. :)

Based on the info posted, this should be what you want

$aEmail = StringRegExp($sMsgContent, "(?i)(?m:^)\s*email\s+address:\s*(.+)(?:\v|$)", 1)

The result will be in $aEmail[0]

You could also do it as a RegExp Replace using

$sEmail = StringRegExpReplace($sMsgContent, "(?s).+(?i)(?m:^)\s*email\s+address:\s*(.+?)\v+.+", "$1")

$sEmail will hold the value.

George,

I wondered how long it would be before you came along! :)

George, thanks very much, this worked, only errors logged to console when they were supposed to, I'm confused though why just changing the $i to a number fixed it as well, is that easily explainable ?

Now all I have to do is start working on cleaning the mess of code I have up and working on the actions

Thanks so much everybody for all of your help, it is really appreciated, and has certainly allowed me to see the power of one simple function

Regards

Paul

One thing you will learn is the fact SRE's are not always simple. I try to keep them as simple as possible but that won't always do the trick.
