AC130 0 Posted May 14, 2011 Hello AutoIt Forums! I have a question. How do I have it so that when I press a HotKey, a GUI will pop up? Here it goes: I start my autoit application. I press "Ctrl + G" and then a help gui will show? I can only get it to work if I start the program, and the GUI starts with it, without the use of a hotkey. BrewManNH 1,305 Posted May 14, 2011 Try this as an example. It will create a GUI and then when you press CTRL-G it will show/hide another GUI I titled Help. HotKeySet("^g", "ShowGUI") Global $Show = False Global $Gui = GUICreate("Test window", 200, 200) GUISetState() Global $HelpGUI = GUICreate("Help Gui", 500, 200) While 1 $Msg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $Msg Case - 3 Exit EndSwitch WEnd Func ShowGUI() $Show = Not $Show GUISetState($Show, $HelpGui) EndFunc If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
