Hi!

I have a comma seperated string. I want to split that string into multiple lines and copy to clipboard as a whole. How do I achieve that?

Suppose I have-

abc qwe try, rty uyt poi, bnm kjlo poiuy bbbba, qrty yuiy,

Now, I want to have the following format in clipboard.

abc qwe try

rty uyt poi

bnm kjlo poiuy bbbba

qrty yuiy

I have splitted the string using StringSplit(delimiter comma) and have sent it to clipboard using ClipPut but I can not acheive the following format.

So when I use ClipGet I want to get the four lines together.

Please help. I am a newbie

topsyleeus,

Use StringReplace to replace the "," with @CRLF like this: ;)

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

$sString = "abc qwe try, rty uyt poi, bnm kjlo poiuy bbbba, qrty yuiy"

$sNewString = StringReplace($sString, ", ", @CRLF)

ClipPut($sNewString)

$hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500)

$hEdit = GUICtrlCreateEdit(ClipGet(), 10, 10, 300, 300)

GUISetState()

While 1
    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
    EndSwitch
WEnd

All clear? :huh2:

hi there,

something like this :

$string = "abc cba, def efd, ghi ihj"
$replace =  StringReplace($string,",", @CRLF)
ConsoleWrite($replace & @CRLF)

Check

clipget
and
clipput
.

Cheers.
